The Aerolase Neo is an aesthetic medical laser that provides a premium patient experience unrivaled in dermatology and aesthetics.  Uniquely gentle, the Neo offers complete skin rejuvenation in a safe, effective, and tolerable treatment for all skin types and tones.

The Neo’s unique 650-Microsecond Technology is attracted to a combination of melanin, hemoglobin, and water in the skin tissue – which contribute to your skin’s signs of aging.  The Neo’s energy passes through the skin to selectively heat these targets without adverse effects – resulting in clear, healthy skin.

It's 650-Microsecond Technology™ eliminates discomfort during treatment and provides safe, highly efficacious results for even the darkest skin tones.

Microdermabrasion

We offer an advanced form of micro-resurfacing with DermaSweep, with combined targeted skin infusions for increased results in fewer treatments.  Our skin infusions contain proven ingredients, such as protective antioxidants, soothing and calming botanicals, hydrating humectants, clarifying alpha-hydroxy acids, skin transforming peptides, age reversing growth factors, and repairing enzymes.

DermaSweep is a microdermabrasion system that uses bristle technology, instead of the traditional crystals, to abrade and polish the skin.  There are various bristle tips that we can use during treatment based on your skin type and condition. The first step is to remove the top layer of skin with the bristle tip and suctioning.

Following that step, practitioners use a polishing tip and put infusion serums back into the skin.  We love DermaSweep  because it is painless, comfortable, and precise at removing the top layer of your skin, leaving it smoother and softer than you ever thought possible.  It also allows for customization to meet everyone’s unique skin needs.

Injectables

Facial wrinkles and lines can be reduced with cosmetic injections. The two main types of injectable substances used are botulinum toxin type A and dermal fillers.
  • Botulinum toxin type A injections weaken muscles in the face and lessen the lines associated with facial expressions.  The relaxation of the underlying muscle allows the skin to flatten out.
  • Dermal fillers are piped by injection along wrinkles and lines to plump the skin.  Add volume to the midface by lifting cheeks; smooth moderate to severe facial lines around the nose or mouth; or plump the lips for the perfect pout.  Some can even be used to smooth the delicate under eye area.
  • We can also use your own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to make a soft filler for a natural collagen boost anywhere in the face!

Microneedling

SkinPen by Bellus Medical is the first microneedling device in the world cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars, smooth the appearances of wrinkles, and improve skin texture.  With as few as three treatments spaced one month apart, patients can improve their appearance and step out with confidence.

Microneedling devices cause controlled micro-openings that stimulate the body's natural wound- healing process.  As the skin begins to heal, it goes through a three-phase wound repair process:
  • Inflammation- Piercing the skin triggers the immune system to increase blood flow, clean the wounds by removing debris, and begin to create new tissue.
  • Proliferation- The wound is re-built with new skin cells that replace the damaged ones, while boosting collagen and elastin fibers.
  • Remodeling- The new dermal tissue integrates into the skin structure creating smoother, firmer skin.

Topical anesthesia is applied to ensure maximum comfort throughout the treatment.  Patients typically feel light pressure and a mild buzzing sensation from the device.  The treatment session takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes leaving the skin with slight redness in the treated areas, similar to a mild sunburn.

Sclerotherapy

Asclera (polidocanol) injection is the only FDA-approved liquid polidocanol formulation used for the treatment of uncomplicated spider and reticular veins in the lower legs.  Asclera is injected into affected veins, causing them to seal shut and be reabsorbed by the body. The affected veins then fade from view over time.

Several factors can increase your risk of developing varicose veins.  Heredity plays a role, as family history may increase your chances.  Age and gender also impact risk, with older women being the most susceptible.  Aging causes more wear and tear on valve function.  Hormonal changes through puberty, menopause, and pregnancy (along with the extra weight gain that happens) also contribute. Prolonged sitting or standing can further exacerbate the vein issues.

Depending on the size of the veins to be treated, a typical session lasts 30 to 60 minutes. Generally, there is a mild pinch and burning sensation experienced with injections.  Repeat treatment sessions may be necessary.  Any additional treatment sessions are usually separated by 1 to 2 months.

Following treatment, you’ll need to wear compression stockings.  Compression stockings are designed to apply pressure to your lower legs, helping maintain blood flow, and reduce discomfort and swelling.  After treatment, avoid heavy exercise, sunbathing, and long plane flights.  It's also important to steer clear of hot baths, hot tubs, or saunas.  Lastly, try to minimize long periods of standing.

Platelet-Rich Plasma

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrated portion of your blood, used to stimulate collagen production or help cells heal by injecting it directly into your skin, joints, or tendons.

The procedure typically takes 1-2 hours for aesthetics and 45-60 minutes for joint or tendon treatments, depending on the use of injections or microneedling.  PRP offers benefits like minimal downtime, safety, short recovery, and natural results.

For aesthetic applications, PRP has been shown to have overall rejuvenating effects including improving skin tone, texture, and increasing hair growth; softening fine lines and wrinkles; increasing volume through increased production of collagen and elastin; and by diminishing/improving the appearance of scars.  Generally, 2‐3 treatments are advised, but more may be indicated for some individuals.

For joint and tendon applications, PRP can stimulate repair and advance regeneration at the site, offering people non-medicinal, non-narcotic pain relief and quicker healing rates. PRP is preferable to cortisone injections, which could suppress the immune system with chronic use.  In most cases, 1-3 injections are required.
